This Paradise is Real, and Affordable -- And Mexico Insider is the Key to Unlocking It For Yourself!

A Special Message from Kathleen Peddicord, Publisher, International Living

Dear Prospective Mexico Insider Subscriber,

If I were considering a move to Mexico…or an investment in that country (as,
indeed, we are right now…more on this in a moment)…I'd want help.

You know my story. I moved from the East Coast of the United States to
Waterford, Ireland, six-and-a-half years ago. Then, last September, my
husband, Lief Simon, and I established a second home for our family in
Paris.

In that same six-plus-year period, we also established bases of operation
for International Living in Nicaragua, Panama, Ecuador, Mexico, Honduras,
Argentina, Croatia, Romania, and Italy. We move around a lot, and we do
business, at a local level, in at least a dozen countries. Lief and I have
active real estate interests in nine markets.

All this begs a question: How in the world do we manage it? How do we choose
what to do where and when? How do we decide who we can trust? How do we
choose our partners? How do we keep out of trouble?

How do we manage the paperwork?

We have help.

We're fortunate (and we realize it). This is our business. We're able to
focus our time and all our resources on identifying the world's best
opportunities at any moment for fun and for profit.

Once you embrace this idea of International Living…once you open your mind
to the possibilities…your life can get complicated. Suddenly, you're faced
with near-infinite choice. It can be overwhelming. You can be intimidated
into non-action. The more closely you look…the more experienced at these
International Living ideas you become…the more you realize…this ain't easy.

You need help.

We're not thinking right now of moving to Mexico…but Lief and I are
considering a second property investment in that country. As our time
allows, we're continuing our research and our due diligence. Meantime, of
course, the clock is ticking…and the marketing is moving.

Good thing for us, we have help. We can focus but some of our time and
energy thinking about opportunities in Mexico.

Ah, but Dan Prescher and Suzan Haskins, our man and woman on the ground in
that country…they're able to focus all their time, all their attention, all
their resources on understanding the choices in their adopted home country
for both living and investing.

Mexico is a big place. Nearly three times the size of Texas with 5,800 miles
of coastline. Caribbean coast…Pacific coast…Baja coast…colonial
cities…mountain towns…even after you've decided Mexico is a place you ought
to be paying attention to (and I'd argue it is)…your work has only begun.

Where in Mexico?

Depends on your agenda, of course, and your priorities.

Your options are unlimited. Your time, of course, is not.

You need help.

When we need help (as we do right now to figure out where best to invest
further in Mexico's coastal real estate market), Lief and I rely on our
in-house resources.

Over 25 years in this business, International Living has invested a great
deal in building an infrastructure of contacts in the world's most appealing
markets for the expatriate, the retiree, and the investor
. No other
international network compares. We know. We put these IL in-country experts
to the test regularly. We rely on them for help when investing our own
money…even when planning for our family's future.

When we recently wanted to establish a base in Paris, we looked no further
than our IL Paris team. With their help, the process of finding an
apartment, renovating it, enrolling our two children in school, establishing
offices, opening bank accounts, and having the cable and wireless networks
installed (no trivial things) was accomplished in record time (our notaire
told us he'd never, in his decade of experience, had a closing proceed so
quickly). And we avoided two could-have-been disastrous missteps.

You can guess by now, I'm sure, who we'd turn to if we were thinking of a
move to Mexico.

Dan and Suzan know Mexico like nobody I know knows Mexico. After almost 3
years living in the country and traveling it from top to bottom, end to end,
mountain to coast…putting down roots, buying a home, renovating it…they're
serious experts.

If you're considering a move or an investment in Mexico…and you realize (as
I hope you do) that you need help…my strong recommendation is that you do
what we do: Leverage the IL network. Why invest your own limited time and
limited resources in research that's already been done…better (frankly) and
more extensively than you're likely ever to be able to do it on your own?

Dan and Suzan make it easy. They package their experiences and their growing
expertise in their monthly publication Mexico Insider
. There's nothing else
on the market to compare. Yes, I'm their publisher. Yes, I'm biased. But I'm
also an expat…and an investor…and I can recognize what makes sense when it
smacks me in the face.

Mexico Insider makes sense for anyone thinking about living or investing in
this country.
